On October 21st, the AlphaTube project was presented to the citizens of Collombey-Muraz. Together with communal and cantonal representatives the AlphaTube project of the EuroTube Foundation was presented in detail, as well as the necessary procedures.
The first part of the procedure includes the rezoning of the land where the 3 km long test track will be built, as well as the land where the future research and development center will be located. This change will be submitted shortly to the Collombey parliament, and then to the population at a public inquiry in early 2020. The test track should remain in place for about ten years. The site will then be refurbished, but the hall dedicated to research will be maintained.
